Contract SoC Verification Engineer
Duration - 6 months (Likely extension)
Rate - £50-£55 per day
A pioneering satellite communications company based in Guildford are on the hunt for SoC verification engineer on a contract basis to join their test, verification and validation team.
The role itself will heavily involve working at the forefront of SoC verification for all SoC systems and being accountable for a number of IP's including Network IP's and more. You'll be focusing on verification of top-level functionality although the role will also involve support block level verification too.
The company have a focus on developing high performance, state of the art solutions within their product range which includes a range of high to low costing software and hardware products. Their operational markets are focused within the satellite communications, Marine and aerospace industries although they also have a strong market presence in industries such as Automotive and TV.
The test, validation and verification team currently consists of around 7 engineers and will ideally consist of approx. 10 engineers within the next few months. They are also very interested in speaking with software and hardware engineers who are keen in joining a striving company within the ever growing and exciting industry of satellite communications.
The company are ideally looking for:
Hands of SoC Verification experience
System Verilog Experience
Experience verifying integrated circuit designs with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) or Specman.
Knowledge of networking IP's
Knowledge of the following programming languages is also beneficial but NOT essential:
Python, Perl, C/C++ or Verilog
This is initially a 6 month contract although due to the ongoing growth of the current projects it is extremely likely that there will be potential for this position to be long term if this is of interest.
The rate ranges between £50 to £55 per hour depending on the level of your experience.
