Your Skills
- 7 + years of professional experience
- Automotive - Active safety & driver assistance systems; Test & Validation for software; High performance computing applications and infrastructure
- Tools & techniques: C++, Linux (esp. Ubuntu), Virtual machines and containers (eg QEMU, Singularity, Docker), DOORS, Adaptive AUTOSAR, Infineon AURIX ecosystems, MS Office and Project
- Camera-based computer vision systems
- Embedded software development for Automotive ECUs
- Advanced SW architecture
- Automotive microcontrollers for safety applications
- Simulation of computing hardware and related base SW/applications for test & validation purposes (esp. SiL/HiL reprocessing)
- Test & validation toolchain & infrastructure
Your Tasks
- E2E SW responsibility for SiL reprocessing system
- Based on existing requirements, choosing the SW system architecture and each individual component of this system
- Review the architecture, quality and functionality of already existing components
- Moderate and take technical decisions from requirements through releases and change requests/improvements
- Continuous alignment with systems engineer to synchronize software with the system architecture and customer requirements
- Controlling the SW architecture during the upcoming iterations (continuous integration along clients software integration steps)
- Choosing the technologies for the implementation of each LM1 SW component and their interfaces, communication protocols, processes, etc.
- Define and supervise unified SW development standards in the project
- Mentoring of SW teams as required
- Constantly performs code reviews to ensure the quality of the SW design by avoiding complexity and advocating clarity
- Hands-on work in terms of developing prototypes, contributing code or evaluating technologies
- Supervision of SW test methodology and cases (eg basic acceptance test, unit test, functional test)
- Monitoring of SiL SW performance and quality of results
