Description

A Pharmaceutical company in Belgium are seeking 2 senior Software Automation engineers to assist with an ongoing project, reporting to the Software & Validation manager.
Rates are approximately between €50 - €55 per hour and accommodation will be paid for by the client as well as flights for final stage interviews only!
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a lucrative contact & work within a highly skilled team with an international customer base.
The role will involve:
  • Managing software engineering of specific parts of projects as well as complete projects
  • Developing customer specific software using standard engineered modules
  • Identify improvements
  • Conduct review meetings with the customers explaining software architecture
  • Execute software activities for customers
  • Review meetings with other departments to standardize automation approach.
Candidates must have the following skills & experience:
  • Master degree in Software/Controls engineering, or equivalent by experience.
  • Solid experience as a controls engineer in process industry (food, pharma, petro/chemical, waste treatment or others)
  • Knowledge and experience programming most of the following systems: Siemens PLC, Rockwell PLC, Scada Siemens Win CC systems, Visual Basic - Programming these PLCs with particular emphasis on Win CC experience is a MUST
  • Be fluent in English & preferably Dutch
  • Be prepared for some travel within the role
