An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join an existing IT/business change programme within a major property fund investment company. The role will involve supporting fund accountants and other business stakeholders within a wider programme to migrate from an in-house Property Management and Accounting System to Yardi Voyager 7S. The scope of the initial implementation will be limited to UK funds only.

The successful candidate will be required to proactively drive user/delivery focused activities, engaging and supporting business stakeholders in identifying and managing business process change, devising and documenting new business processes and communicating process change. As the wider programme moves forward this role will support end users in managing acceptance test planning and execution, and also help to prepare operational functions for system implementation.
The candidate will work closely with an existing team of business analysts who are responsible for optimising the implementation of Yardi Voyager and ensuring that the product is integrated with the business' operating model and IT systems. The role also involves liaison with other project team members, internal IT technical staff and Yardi implementation consultants as well as a wide range of business stakeholders.

The candidate will have a good working knowledge of Yardi Voyager ideally gained in a fund management/fund accounting environment, and should have worked on several significant implementations within a structured development environment, adhering to project standards and procedures. Strong financial services/investment management knowledge is required, ideally with exposure to fund accounting, property management and accounting business operations and systems.
The successful applicant will be required to communicate effectively with senior business representatives, specialist end users (e.g. fund accountants) and other project stakeholders, as well as producing high quality project documentation.

Responsibilities
Working closely with key business stakeholders through the delivery, testing and implementation project stages/lifecycle;
Helping business stakeholders design and deliver business process change to optimise the implementation of the Yardi Voyager software platform;
Ensuring production of consistently high quality project and business documentation;
Working to wider programme plans and meeting programme timescales within budget and to the agreed level of quality;
Following a formal project lifecycle approach in adherence to standards;
Maintaining positive and effective relations with business representatives and members of the IT team.

Key Requirements
Confident, proactive and self-motivated individual, able to work on own initiative;
Excellent stakeholder management skills;
Previous experience of large scale system implementation/business change projects;
Excellent documentation and communication skills;
Able to work to tight timescales in a controlled manner;
Understanding of and involvement in the entire project lifecycle;
Experience of working within a structured environment (e.g. Prince2);
Experience of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word essential.
