This position is primarily about supporting the implementation and optimization of an LTE Macro eNodeB customer solution based on the latest generation of our clients high performance family of products.In a second step, the job could evolve towards designing and developing leading edge system solutions for the next generation of wireless technologies (LTE and LTE-Advanced)
In this position, you will be working in a multi-site environment and have the following responsibilities:
Analysis and optimization of multi-core / multi-processor LTE Layer1 application
Characterization of the CPRI interface behaviour
Prototype an LTE modem SW architecture on multi-core DSP target
Customer specific requirements
Usage of an existing Matlab model
Documentation
Efficient collaboration with other teams worldwide, as well as various eco-system partners, participation to SW deliveries activities. The job implies frequent communication with the others sites (USA, Romania, Israel, China).
You will have the following background / skills:
At least 5 year experience in embedded baseband software development (WCDMA, LTE, LTE-A) and Software architecture
Proven knowledge of protocols for LTE and/or LTE-Advanced Physical Layer and associated signal processing algorithms
Excellent understanding of baseband signal processing theory and 3GPP 36.xxx series specifications
Proficiency in relevant software development languages (C/Matlab)
Any of the following would be considered as a plus:
Experience of the following products (MSC815x, BSC913x, B4xxx)
Knowledge of LTE Layer-2 (MAC) and FAPI protocol
Software and hardware integration experience
Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory
This position requires regular interactions with other teams, both internal and external. The candidate must have excellent English communication skills, be creative, team oriented and flexible.
