Software Developer - Big Data - Daily Rate Contract - Roles x2
The role encompasses the full development life cycle.
You will be helping to:
-
Radically restructure and simplify our existing platforms
-
Implement controls to ensure quality of critical data
-
Mature abstract and open ended business and technical requirements into deliverables
You will interact with technology and business groups on a daily basis
Key Skills:
-
Proficient Python/Java/C#/C++/Ruby/Scala
-
Proficient SQL
-
Experience of, or serious interest in, Big Data technologies (Hadoop/Spark/MapR etc)
-
Effective communication and problem solving skills
-
Experience in banking/finance sector or experience in commercial data centric projects

A degree or equivalent experience
