Description
We have a direct client with an immediate need for a Software Developer proficient in Perl Scripting to create a file transfer program for a business oriented project.Requirements:
- Experience with AIX / Solaris / Unix environment
- Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software
- Participate in project planning, estimates of work, create logical flow charts
- Convert requirements into user specifications
- Work with management and cross-functional teams to provide technical solutions
- Mentor and provide guidance to software engineers
- Develop new computer applications or enhancements for end-user applications
- Modify existing software to improve performance
- Conduct testing for new development and modifications
- Create and update Documentation for program development and subsequent revisions
- Build deployment packages to automate and ensure quality of installs, service packs and/or upgrades
- May be responsible for 24/7 rotating support
