Duration: 6 months daily rate contract

A leading Insurance company are now looking for a Software Engineer for a 6 month daily rate contract. This role will suit someone with 3-5 years experience with C# and ASP.net MVC.
One of the main advantages of working with my client is the variety and challenging projects they encounter and that you will be in charge of. They also have an excellent and talented development team that is solving unique problems.
Your Role:
You will have a split of time of 20% on the support side and 80% on the development side. You will work in an agile environment with daily stand-up meetings. Your workload is 2-3 key projects around risk analysis, e-messaging, underwriting systems for this Insurance company. You will thrive in this role with being an excellent communicator, understanding and defining requirements, working with QA and knowing when to review and when to develop. Part of your role is also supporting existing applications.
Your Skill-set:
- 3-5 years of C# applications
- Experience as a full stack developer with ASP.NET MVC and client libraries such as Jquery and Angular.
Desirable
- Experience working with the Microsoft BI stack
- Insurance Industry knowledge
- Experience in writing unit tests and also the Agile environment
My client is a financially stable Company with a Roadmap of interesting and exciting projects in the coming 18 months. Recently there was a large article about the Company in the Irish Times.
