Description
WA Consultants has an urgent requirement for a suitably experienced Protocol Software Developer to implement and develop OS Drivers. The suitably applicant should have prior commercial experience with wireless protocols such as GSM or Edge or LTE or W-CDMA CDMA.
Commercial skills must include a large proportion of the following
Protocol Stack development
Write, debug, and support Embedded drivers for RF and Modem hardware in the C language.
GSM Multiplexer knowledge
Experience with 2G and 3G cellular communications.
Experience with GSM protocols including GSM MUX.
Knowledgeable about GPRS, EDGE, GSM, W-CDMA, LTE and WiMax
Knowledgeable about AT Command sets.
Familiarity with IP and PPP.
Experience with debugging Embedded software using an in-circuit emulator (Lauterbach Trace32 JTAG) for an ARM processor.
Experience with RF test equipment measurements for power, spectrum, and waveform quality in at least one cellular standard CDMA2000, WCDMA, HSPA, GSM/EDGE, and LTE.
Development experience with 2G and 3G radio and drivers for Embedded OS Driver development is a key skill
