Description
Work within a scientific organization to provide services towards a project that will 'make a difference'.
Assist in the design, development, testing and release management of data processing systems within a Linux/HPC environment.
Full SDLC, these are not support and maintenance positions.
Prior experience in:
- Python Design, development, and unit testing of software applications on Linux platform;
- Object-Oriented analysis and design;
- Python/C/C++ programming language,
- Compiling and configuring Open Source applications in Linux Operating System environment.
- Agile
Desirable skills:
- Experienced with configuration, release, dependency management of source code using Subversion;
- Experienced in software application development with Object-Oriented Python;
- Demonstrated experience in developing system and technical documentation; and
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to customer's working culture and environment.
This position is only open to Australian citizens with the ability to gain a baseline security clearance.
