Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

We have a stellar engineering team building an educational content marketplace and distribution platform serving users in 25 countries. As an early member of a tightly knit team, you can help shape the vision and growth of a groundbreaking product. Our team is distributed across the US - so telecommuting is often the norm.

We're looking for a full-stack Rails engineer with the following background:

2+ years building scalable Ruby on Rails applications

BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

Proficient with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery

Bonus points if you have experience with:

MongoDB

Authoring or participating in one or more open source projects

Amazon EC2/S3, Heroku, or other cloud technologies

Agile methodologies and test-driven development

CoffeeScript

1+ startups

Working remotely and independently
