Main tasks:
- Take the ownership of release management for internet of things application software
- Management of the whole software development release lifecycle, from planning the release timeline in collaboration with partners till deployment to target systems
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Full responsibility of seamlessly rolling out quality application software to customers
- Oversee the tracking of release KPIs as a basis for leadership steering
- Plan the risk management in the domain of release management
Main qualifications
- Master´s degree in business information technology, information systems, computer science or similar
- Experience in release management, ideally for Cloud-based customer facing web or mobile applications in an internet of things setup
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies (eg. Scaled Agile Framework - SAFE) and process modelling
- Experience in applying DevOps methodologies in complex microservice environments preferable
- Solid understanding of deployment procedures and the underlying CI/CD tools (eg. gitlab, ansible)
- Fluency in English, German language skills are beneficial
