Description
One of Queensland major government organisations is seeking a Software Tester to be responsible for the testing and release of web software applications (Microsoft .NET and Sharepoint). Your responsibilities will include preparation of test estimates, system test plans, creation of new test cases, and execution of manual and automated test cases. You Will also be responsible for fault diagnosis, defect management, providing reports and documentation of testing results to the Test Manager.
You will have the following skills and responsibilities:-
- Demonstrated ability to analyse software requirements, issues and risks to develop integrated software system test strategies, plans and test cases
- Demonstrated ability in providing software testing to defined quality levels, including defect management, with emphasis on HP Quality Centre systems
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of web applications and Scripting skills in SQL and VB/VBA
- Well developed oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively prepare and present testing documentation and reports to successfully implement solutions
- Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team to achieve agreed outcomes.
