Description
We are looking for an SC cleared SolarWinds application specialist to work for our client in Farnborough/
Malvern for an initial 3 months contract.
The ideal candidate will be required to perform the following duties:
Outline of duties:
- Design, implementation, test and documentation of SolarWinds service
- Training (handover) local resource in SolarWinds
- Design, implement and test Dell Open Manage
- Design HP SIM/SUM
- Development of test plans
- Testing and recording test results
- Documentation (production of operations manual content)
Experience & Knowledge:
- SolarWinds application specialism - ability to install and configure the service
- Ability and willingness to impart knowledge to others (crucial)
- Knowledge of Dell Open Manage - sufficient to produce a detailed design.
- Knowledge of HP SIM/SUM - sufficient to produce a detailed design (lower relative priority).
- Build, configuration, testing, support (fault find and fix) and documentation of various systems and services.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of WSUS and Sophos would be an advantage
- Experience of controlled environments (direct experience of MOD DAIS and ISO27001 would be an advantage)
- Demonstrable experience of producing detailed designs
- Recent, demonstrable experience of implementing designs, testing and documentation.
