Solutions Designer (Security Operations)
I'm currently seeking an experience Solutions Designer (Security Operations) to a leading organisation in a dynamic working environment. The position is for a Subject Matter Expert for a Security Operations Centre This is contract duration of 4-6 months to start in May 2016.
The Solutions Designer (Security Operations) will be responsible for;
- The candidate will transform tactical and operational ideas to implementable solutions, this requires a knowledge of the end-to-end operations in a Security Operations Centre.
- Specific deliverables would be a defining or specific tactical (business) goals, translation into defined requirements, and a description solutions.
- Candidate is expected to interact with other parties within the end-user organization to gather support for business goals, requirements and solutions.
- The Subject Matter Expert will Primarily work on a related project and Splunk on a project on Threat Intelligence integration.
- Coordinating implementation solutions SOA Solution Designer I and II. Responsible for the entirety of all service components within a domain change.
- Monitoring coherence and connection of cross domain solutions.
- With very complex tasks: decomposition in specific assignments for colleagues. Supervising sound technical development.
The Solutions Designer (Security Operations) will ideally have the following;
- 3 years + or Security Operations knowledge, with a track record that can demonstrate hands-on experience for SOC people, processes and technology design, implementation and operations (run and maintain)
- Understanding of Security Architecture
- Good understanding of security technology (Network security, process automation, SIEM, log management)
- Knowledge of Data Leakage Preventions - goals or DLP and solutions
- Extensive knowledge of Splunk is a must
- Knowledge of Threat Intelligence is a must.
- Knowledge or Q Radar
- Business justification or SOCs
- Understanding of the workflow in a SOC.
- Broad knowledge of banking sector
- Knowledge of and experience with project management according to Prince2, Scrum/Agile
- Knowledge of and experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Knowledge and experience of test management for automation
- In possession of as usual certification ISTQB Advanced, TMap
- Knowledge and experience in the field of Object Orientation, RESTful Web services and Open API concepts
- Knowledge and experience with UML, Design Patterns, TOGAF and ArchiMate
- Knowledge and experience with, inter alia, Java, XML, SOAP, HTML and SQL
Nice to have for the Solutions Designer (Security Operations);
- Dutch Fluency
- Experience in requirements engineering.
- Significant security certifications.
- Cloud
- SOA
- Agile SCRUM Master certified
- Prince2 Foundation certified.
