Audio Design Engineer Belgium €40-€60 per hour
My client looking for Audio Design Engineer, you are responsible for verification of the hardware circuitry and verification of the correct implementation of the audio processing of the sound part of the TV.
You are motivated, willing to learn, communicative and passionate by product design and quality of sound. Notions like DSP, class-D amplifiers, speaker technology, sound system concepts, Dolby encoding do "sound" familiar to you.
Key areas of responsibility:
Design follow up for the assigned audio part. Verification against specification of electrical circuits and the application of the available digital sound processing and CODEC functions in such a way that the optimum is reached in terms of sound performance.
To evaluate prototypes on hardware level but also on a software driver and system performance level. Manage, solve and or follow up the technical problems.
To optimize test and alignment instructions in co-operation with the process engineer. To obtain knowledge about and to process the production requirements.
Your profile (m/v):
You are a master of science in engineering or master of engineering. You have at least some years of experience in audio related hardware measurements like cross talk, bandwidth, audio filter responses, distortion, signal to noise You are motivated to work in the dynamical environment of consumer electronics and are passionate by sound.
Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (here related to audio ) like filter types IIR, FIR is an advantage.
Knowledge of C# and python is an advantage.
You master the English language. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
