Location: Krakow, PolandExperience:5+ years
Requirements:
Develop, implement and support automation of common or complex activities in support of maintaining a performant Splunk environment and delivering value for users in a safe and compliant way.
Deliver solutions based on customers’ requirements.
Design and build Splunk applications, reports and dashboards.
Support users with Splunk concepts, best practices and technical queries.
Support the Splunk infrastructure and Splunk application performance and availability.
Some extent of admin work, related to requesting items from other teams, managing workload and change management processes.
Good verbal and written communication skills as the job role involves interaction with multiple stake holders across the globe + Senior management.An advantage would be having:
Experience with automation products such as Ansible and Jenkins.
Knowledge of AWS infrastructure provisioning and management. Especially in support of Splunk on AWS.
Responsibility:
Expertise in Splunk Enterprise.
Ability to work with Git and GitHub.
Experience with a scripting or programming language.
Ability to create and operate test plans in order to assure measured quality of release artefacts.
Experience of Agile ways of working.
Ability and willingness to work independently.
Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership.
Previous experience with ITSI.
Understanding of creating solutions that consume APIs from Splunk and other products.
Providing on-call support during the night and the weekends.
Readiness to take part in the implementations during the weekend.
May require working in UK business hours (11-19)
Contract: 6 months+ Extension
