As a BI Developer you will be the primary resource within the wider IT team, responsible for the design, development, implementation and management of BI solutions. My client is looking for an enthusiastic self managed individual.Type: Contract
Rate: £300- £350pd
Location: South Wales
Role:
- Design, develop, debug/test, implement and manage BI solutions and processes.
- Design and develop SSIS packages, stored procedures and ETL code
- Optimizing data code
- Ensure all work is clearly documented and centrally located
Desired Skills:
- Extensive experience in BI solution design and development
- Practical experience with SSIS
- Technical experience of SQL Server, up to 2012
- Practical experience of developing reports with SSRS
- Ability to create and query databases using SQL
- Understanding of SSAS, PowerPivot and OLAP/Dimensional models
- Experience with T-SQL
- Excellent requirements gathering skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with large data volumes
