Description
We have an immediate requirement for a SQL BI Developer to start within the next two weeks with my leading professional services client to be based from their office in central London.
This is a 3 month initial term contract with further scope to extend thereafter. They are looking for talented full stack SQL BI Developer who will develop on new and existing projects. You will also be tasked with analysing, translating and capturing functional and non-functional business reporting requirements to create solid ETL / DWH design.
You will be involved in multiple existing projects as well as BAU and Greenfield work across the global business and this will encompass gathering requirements and specifications, report design and development, testing on development and liaising with different areas of the business and sponsors of the project.
Core Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 to 6 years commercial experience as a SQL BI Developer
- Proven experience of SQL Server development using
- Self-starter/able to work independently
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MDS)
- Strong ETL and Kimball Data Warehouse design
- Experience of working with large amounts of data
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and resolution skills
