Our client is currently looking for a 2nd/3rd level Administrator to provide support for the PeopleSoft and EDRMS system and associated infrastructur.

Primary Duties

  • Administer SQL databases in both SQL Server 2005 and 2008 R2 in clustered environment including SQL Server security, replication, mirroring, backup and restore, tuning and Scripting.
  • Upgrade SQL server databases including migration of SQL Server 2005 to SQL server 2008 R2.
  • Report development, support and troubleshooting (such as MS Reporting Services)
  • Support in-house developed and third party applications including Marval, EPMS, EDRMS and PeopleSoft.
  • Produce user documentation and transfer knowledge and skills to other team members as required.
  • Maintain various IMD support tools including the Marval Service Management and Microsoft Enterprise Project Management Server.
  • Ensure that the tasks and progressive action history are duly recorded and concluded to the client's satisfaction.
  • Provide assistance as required for training, development and testing domains.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in

  • Microsoft SQL Server database administration, database design and performance tuning.
  • Microsoft Data Transformation Services.
  • information systems with respect to Microsoft operating systems and products, in relation to the operation of a SQL Server database environment.
  • developing Database Reports.
  • developing/maintaining MSM environments (or other ITSM toolsets).
  • developing/maintaining MS Enterprise Project Management Servers (or other MS Sharepoint applications).
  • analysing and solving problems.
