SQL Database Engineer, SQL DBAPublic Sector Client requires SQL Database Engineer
The role will initially run for a six month period. You will be focused on the conception, modelling, and creation (programming) of database, data analysis and administration of the database, including configuration and documentation.
Experience to include:
- Knowledge and hands on operational experience with SQL Server 2012
- Database migration from Legacy SQL Server versions to SQL Server 2012
- Designing and administering high availability SQL Server environments
- Designing and implementing SQL Server backup and maintenance strategies.
- SQL Server performance optimisation and tuning
- Database infrastructure architecture and design
- Oracle 10g and 11gR2; database tuning and performance analysis a benefit
