Sr. Interactive Designer (IxD)
Reports to: VP of Product & UX

Job Status: Contract (12-month) to Perm
Job Summary: To oversee all internal and external visual design components and manage a team of graphic designers to communicate exceptional design through best practices and methodologies. If necessary, be “last line of defense” and exhibit a strong ability to execute RFI’s, Creative Briefs and Production ready visual design from conception to deployment.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Art Direct and oversee a team of 3-5 graphical, UX and production designers
- Coordinate meetings with clients in relation to project deliverables and presentations
- Assist designers in the conception of campaign brand messaging
- Execute client presentations for all project deliverables and pitches
- Provide Jr. level designers and interns with creative feedback and direction for all projects
- Develop brand messaging ideas and creative strategy for all projects
- If applicable, provide copywriting for all campaign body text, headers, taglines, etc.
- Oversee all agency projects from conception to deployment
- Establish and maintain relationships with key print, web, eCommerce and mobile vendors
- Oversee internal comp deadlines in relation to the project timeline
- Must have a strong process for responsive application GUI design
- Documentable design process from RFI to Launch
- Must have BFA in Graphic Design, Fine Art, Creative Writing and/or 3-5 years agency experience
- Acute sense of understanding the brief and the Client’s objective with a strong understanding for
process and design leadership best practices and reviewing process - Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Although this position will be to lead a team of designers, Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, & Acrobat Pro) is a must.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and Apple iWork suite
- Proficiency in using PowerPoint & Keynote presentation software
- Experience with production art and UX/UI visual design process and formatting for iOS (eg. pre-press for print, UI screens for iOS and Android)
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and PHP5 is a plus
- Passion, Drive and the ability to deal with a multi-disciplinary management team
