Description
Strategic Responsibilities- Serve as cross-functional FORM lead in assigned areas of resource development (technology, training and education, MSL processes and policies).
- Participate in strategic and operational discussions regarding the MSL team. Actively participate in field management team meetings when appropriate.
- Collaborate with content experts [MDs, MSDs/DSs, principal MSLs, external EEs] and CT&D to develop high quality resources and training programs that optimize and enhance therapeutic expertise, and are fully compliant with policies.
- Work closely with the Therapeutic Area Medical Teams (MSL management team, Medical Directors, Medical Communications, MSL Trainer and/or CT&D Training Managers, Disease Specialists, Scientific Collaboration, and Global Teams) to assess and/or develop and coordinate execution of the training/education plan, including qualifications/knowledge Lead efforts to identify and evaluate new technology to optimize MSL scientific communication and field effectiveness.
Tactical Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and drive development of slides and other communication tools/materials for MSL educational, proactive, and responsive purposes.
- Ensure and maintain MSL team and other stakeholders' access of approved MSL resources and materials.
- Ensure alignment in the approach and delivery of MSL proactive and responsive efforts across MSL programs. Work with MSL management team, CT&D and content experts to optimize the logistics of key educational activities and proficiencies.
- Oversee or assist in the pre-congress preparation process and post congress incorporation of new data in educational materials.
- Field visits with MSLs to assess impact of functional tools, processes, training programs, and ensure compliant activity.
Preparatory/Administrative
- Maintain working knowledge of medical team studies, relevant medical literature and treatment patterns in the therapeutic area to achieve execution of key deliverables.
- Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams and TAs and lead collaboration efforts through key stakeholders.
- Lead and facilitate interactions across TAs and provide direction and support for Disease Specialist and other designated subject matter experts.
- Coordinate and lead selected team meetings.
- Complete mandatory training according to established guidelines.
- Provide advice on medical and scientific merit of data to be considered for training and field use.
- Interfaces with Medical Teams and appropriate working groups and sub teams to gain input on the creation of medical resources.
