Sr. Preventive medicine/Public Health Expert (m/f)

Description

• Scientific research in the fields of epidemiology, including observational and interventional (experimental) clinical studies
• Project management in the pharmaceutical / health-care industry
• Review and meta-analysis

• Native English language speaker
• MD or PhD in health-related science (biology, biochemistry, clinical chemistry, toxicology, physiology etc.) plus MPH or Master in Epidemiology and/or Biostatistics
• Post-doc experience and project management skills in responsible health-area position in academia, but preferably industry (pharmaceutical industry, healthcare devices) or health-related administration
• Sound methodological background covering study design, laboratory analytical processes and procedures, statistical analyses, and statistical quality assurance
• Experience with systematic review and meta-analysis methods and multivariate statistics.
• Substantial experience in and record of peer-reviewed publications and sound track record in writing and filing regulatory submission documents as well as study protocols and study reports
• Understanding of and experience with GMP, GLP, and GCP guidelines
• Familiarity with operating in quality controlled environments and skills in navigating though complex scientific issues in a multidisciplinary and –cultural environment
• Excellent skills in writing on and presenting of complex scientific matters is mandatory
• Desirable areas of expertise include risk-factor studies and analyses, descriptive and analytical epidemiology concepts and methods, as well as population health impact assessment methods
• A thorough understanding of the principles of product assessment and clinical research is mandatory
• Specialized knowledge in areas like product design space specification principles, psychometrics, health-measurement scale development, biomarker development, evidence integration and statistical modeling would be of advantage
