I am representing a firm that is looking for a passionate Software Developer to work on both the UI and Back-end of a new, cloud based, big data web application. This excellent Java/J2EE developer will be collaborating with the team in an Agile environment throughout the full life cycle development of this application. They will be contributing their unique, innovative ideas by writing all over the white boards covering the office walls!The IT team invests a lot in their technology, and is not afraid to push the technical envelope and try out the newest, cutting edge technologies. They are looking for other passionate technologists who are very eager to learn and expand their skillset. Currently, the team is growing and they are seeking Junior, Mid-Level, Senior, and Lead Developers.
Candidates must be skilled in:
- Java/J2EE
- Spring
- XML
- User Interface Development
- Any modern JavaScript Framework
- Agile development
- Being knowledgeable in other languages and a variety of tools is a big plus (we are looking for type of person who goes to meet up groups, takes online courses in Ruby, Clojure, or Scala, or does side projects for FUN!)
- Big Data development experience is a plus
- An enthusiastic desire to learn and passion for technology is a MUST
