this is until at least end of the year plus extensions.
Knowledge of Digital TV environments and a testing background of settop box devices. understanding of DVB and DVB PSI/SI. Understanding of docsis 3.0.
Understanding digital TV headend - Able to create and execute test plans related to acceptance of settop boxes (SW and HW)

create test cases for set top boxes, Embedded software testing
perform sanity test cycles for set tp boxes, consisting of hardware and Embedded software
perform acceptance test cycles for set top boxes, consisting of hardware and Embedded software
report test progress, defect reports and test results towards client
