Description

A good understanding of SAN Administration and previous experience as a team lead for a large Storage environment will be advantageous when applying for this position.

As the Storage Architect, your DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to:

  • Effective negotiation with Clients on all changes and additions to the environment.
  • Drawing upon concepts of tools, technologies and methodologies to collaborate with other technical specialists when carrying out assigned duties.
  • Create regular reports for Management requirements.
  • Assisting in the identification of new service opportunities.
  • Challenging the validity of given procedures and processes with the intent to enhance and improve a customer solution.

Ideally, you will have had an exposure to Operating Systems such as:-

  • AIX
  • Windows
  • HPUX
  • Linux
  • Solaris

Perform a lead role for a large technical team and also to deliver a solution, construct a plan, implement and troubleshoot complex Storage SAN/NAS environment.

As a senior leader, demonstrate your capability of handling critical situations and manage clients both on the telephone and face to face.

An Engineering Degree from a Premier Institute (Electronics, Computer Science etc.) or a Masters degree in Computer Science/Equivalent Degree will be highly regarded.

From time to time, you may be required to be on call or work on a weekend.
