Description
Candidate Responsibilities:- Perform research and development activities advancing structural analysis simulation tools.
Typical Day:
- Work with a team in a research environment, complete individual tasks that contribute back to team goal, present on results
Technical Skills:
- Required Structural Analysis Simulation Experience - 3 years Software: Abaqus and Creo.
- Structural Analysis Simulation Experience using FeSafe and/or Hypermesh would be a plus.
- Fracture Mechanics Analysis Background 1 year Research and Development
- Experience 1 year Welding Process Simulation (distortion, residual stress, etc.)
- Mechanical Engineering, Bachelors or Above - Advanced degree preferred.
- Must be able to compile technical information and data into understandable, presentable media to be understood by managers and people without an engineering background.
