My client has been establish for over 150 years as a marine contractor. They are currently looking for a Structural Engineer for an offshore wind project.Role: Structural Engineer
Duration: 12 months renewable contract
Location: Netherlands
Key responsibilities:
Independent review of onshore wind turbine foundation designs
Analysis and design of wind turbine foundations
Fatigue life evaluation
Foundation/structures, jackets
Specification, development and validation of calculations (analytical and finite elements)
Understanding of structural dynamics
Essentials
Master degree in Structural Engineering or similar
Onshore or offshore wind turbine foundation design
5 + years' experience in Offshore wind turbines
Knowledge in floating wind gravity
Inspection, repair, monitoring and retrofit strengthening of structures
Fatigue analysis
Experience in both concrete and steel
3D constitutive modelling of reinforced concrete
Calculation and modelling of seismic actions
Skills and knowledge relating to steel structures, such as piles and jackets/lattice structures
