Structured Cabling Engineer: Cabling, Cat6, Fibre - (RL7364)
Our Leading Global Enterprise client is looking for Support Engineers having experience in Structured Cabling to work on a night shift pattern. Engineers will need to pass airside vetting which takes a few weeks, but it's pretty easy.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 240 Days
Rate: £172 - £215/day (please note, Employer NI is paid for by the client)
IR35 Status: Inside
Location: Heathrow, London
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience of Structured Cabling systems
- Technical understanding of Structured Cabling systems
- 5-year job history (vetting to enable Airside pass)
- Terminating and patching UTP systems
- Installation of containment (trunking, conduit, copex)
- CCTV knowledge (camera installation would be beneficial)
- Valid IPAF trained
- Valid ECS or equivalent CSCS card
- Assist current PM team to ensure correct paperwork - RAMS, Permits, WAN's and LSS submitted
- Valid ECS or CSCS card
- Knowledge and Experience of Structured cabling systems Cat6 and Fibre(not essential)
- 5year background check for Airside pass
- Full driving Licence
- Driver (not essential, but enables Airside driving)

- Good written and spoken communicative abilities; presentation and moderation skills; professional and convincing manner of appearance and expression; clear, targeted communication (verbal and written)
