Subcontract Manager - Contracts Manager - Procurement Manager
Location; Cumbria
Contract: 12 months initially
Rate: £50.00ph Ltd/Umbrella
Working for an established organisation, the idea candidate will be required to lead and manage major subcontract activities to successfully deliver an entire contract from "Cradle to grave". You will be responsible for delivering functional strategies, plans and objectives to meet business objectives. Execute tender actives in accordance with appropriate legislation. Create and manage life cycle planning and scheduling information relating to the sub contract. Ensure all deliverables are established and maintained within cost, schedule and performance boundaries as defined in the contracts. Engage and support stakeholders and Managers on activities to generate, negotiate and place contracts with selected suppliers and manage any performance issues with the contract. You will also maintain regular reviews of internal & external performance metrics to achieve the business objectives. Support business review meetings providing reports, including metrics and or data as required. The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience as Sub Contracts Manager. You will have managed supply chain activities ideally within an engineering or defence environment within cost, schedule and performance boundaries as defined. Lead the full life cycle of contractual negotiations. Successfully deployed Continuous Improvements to improve overall performance activities and be confident and capable of liaising with suppliers and stakeholders to lead the delivery of sub- contract management activities.
