Support Administrator

Are you looking to work in one of Europe's Historic Cities -Stockholm? The opportunity to work within a prestigious EU institution as a freelance Support Administrator makes this a fantastic opportunity.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

Tasks & responsibilities:
Register, analyze, categorize and resolve reported incidents and requests
Assign the appropriate priorities and dispatch incidents and requests to the adequate support group;
Support users and their workstations, telephones, mobile devices and other IT equipment;
Provide application support and ensure installation/reconfiguration/reinstallation of applications;
Provide the users with information or awareness sessions on specific ICT products and solutions
Produce and update technical, management and user oriented documentation;
Keep the stock and the configuration items information up to date;
Prepare user related hardware for decommissioning.
Provide remote support and desk support;
Install, connect and move PC equipment;
Manage user accounts;
whenever necessary;
Keep the inventory of the IT assets;
Creation of images for deployment;
Software deployment

Specific requirements:

6years of experience in a similar role OR 4 years with university degree
Good knowledge and experience of end user mobile device support
Good knowledge and experience with Landesk Service Desk Console
Good knowledge of software deployment
Knowledge of Windows Server Update Services
Knowledge and experience of preparing images for deployment
Good 1st line and 2nd line troubleshooting experience
Experience of working in a public sector environment
Excellent team worker but also able to work independently
Ability to prioritize the workload

Duration:
Initial duration of 95 working days, with extensions likely
