Description
Support L2 / L3 - MIFID wanted for our Zurich based client in the technology sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years' working experience along with 1+ year IT background, ideally within a financial organization
- Proficiency in new issues and connectivity solutions for MIFID (TOM, TradeNET, OTM, OTEx, NIQ (currently NIS)) framework
- Familiarity with Unix and Windows Server including handling files, searching logs and checking processes
- Know-how of SQL querying (Oracle / Microsoft SQL)
- Understanding of Charles River System would be beneficial
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is an advantage
Your tasks:
- Providing 1st Level business and technical support on a wide variety of software applications
- Analysing incidents and problems as well as contributing to the teams delivery to the business clients and technical stakeholders
- Collaborating with key stakeholders from the relevant areas particularly within application development and the business community for providing a single point of contact for IT issues
- Leading major incidents to ensure that incidents which may have an adverse impact are appropriately escalated and resolved
- Driving improvements across software applications including automation and monitoring
