System administrator - Linux Limerick contract 6 months.
My client a global name in their respected industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Linux System administrator.
The successful Senior Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting the network and server infrastructure and maintaining availability of the platform. The Linux Systems Administrator will join a small team supporting Internet facing platforms (including web services) and managing platform components including proxies, DBs, web Servers, Firewalls, Routers and Switches.
The ideal Linux Systems Administrator will have experience in the following:
Linux/Ubuntu Systems Administration
High Traffic
Web Servers - Apache or Nginx
Database Administration - MySQL or MongoDB or Cassandra
Scripting languages - Shell, or PHP or Perl or python
Monitoring Tools - Nagios or Cacti or Icinga or Zabbix or Observium
Routers, Switches & Firewalls
Configuration Management Tools - Puppet or Chef
