Systems Engineer - IEC 61850 - Contract - MidlandsA midlands based client of Progressives are looking for a contract systems engineer the experience required is detailed below:
Experience
Hands-on experience of the IEC 61850 protocol (~5years).
Some actual experience of software development related to IEC61850 protocol implementation.
Purpose of the Job
Contribute significantly to the implementation of the IEC 61850 of the Series V:
- In coordination with the System Architect and with the Software Architect Engineer
- Help to select the IEC 61850 protocol stack to be used
- Participate to the design to decide in which sub-system the IEC protocol will be implemented
- Study the SAL language features and propose plan how to use it in combination with IEC 61850
- experience with Matlab
- Design how the IEC 61850 stack will be configured.
