Description
Dutch-speaking, seasoned System Support Engineer required to join a dynamic team. The team is responsible for the infrastructure management & 2nd line support of 3rd party Server Applications.
Tasks:
- Providing 2nd line support (to users & competence centre) on about 25 3rd party server applications (eg SharePoint, CRM, Changepoint, CDW).
- Full deployment and configuration of new applications on Windows Servers.
- Proactive monitoring and monitoring the stable and efficient operation of these applications.
- Documenting infrastructure design, installation and drafting procedures for 1st line and competence centre.
- Prepare estimates (effort & costs) of future projects.
Expected skills and experience:
- You are very communicative: both with your internal customers, as well as with colleagues and suppliers.
- It is expected that you can think analytically and can work autonomously.
- Fluent Dutch and English speaking, plus Is French and German.
You have experience with deploying and maintaining applications on Windows Servers.
- You have experience working in an ITIL organized environment.
- Basic knowledge of subsystems (SQL server, networks, Firewall).
- You have experience in the infrastructural support of one or more of the following applications: Sharepoint, Cherwell (Service Management application), Document Management systems, Time registration application, HP Extream suite.
- Plus points are extra knowledge of Load Balancing, Clustering, VMWare. TomCat services.
- Experience with Scripting in: PowerShell, SQL and VB are also an additional asset.
