Description
The Systems Administrator will employ cloud technologies to create resilient and reliable distributed applications on AWS cloud. The candidate will perform system design, build and analysis with strong problem-solving capabilities
Responsibilities
- Lead platform design and explore solution alternatives.
- Work with customers and stakeholders to architect cloud based solutions of systems and infrastructures.
- AWS certification a plus not a requirement
- Capacity monitoring and alerting tools for resources both on AWS and on-premises
- Work with Application and security teams towards clearing the application free from security vulnerabilities
- Maintain, install and configure third party applications on Linux and windows environment (Cloud and in private data centers)
- Security configuration and hardening of Linux & Windows systems
- Research, recommend innovative solution and create automated approaches for application maintenance tasks around DevOps and Agile practices
- Write automation script (eg windows batch and Linux Shell scripting)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex systems as well as application issues.
- Responsibilities Windows 2012 application support contact to ensure timely and accurate response to all Support inquiries
- Respond to inquiries for support requests from RPA customers and admins
- Support end-user RPA client installations, configurations, updates and migrations through problems.
- Occasionally Provide 24/7 on-call support after hours
- SQL 2012 installation and troubleshooting
- Windows Server 2012 R2 configuration and troubleshooting
- Monitor production performance of Win 2012 server alarms, Back End processes, mitigate program failures, and work on escalations
- Collaborate with colleagues regarding development best practices for production support environment.
- Address network connectivity and configuration
- Troubleshoot Windows 2012 OS, IIS, and Services
Required Experience
- Experience in developing vbscript, powershell script, windows batch programming and C#.NET to create monitoring programs and utilities
- Experience with REST and Web Services
- Experience in writing programs on visual basic or .net
- Experience on Mirroring, Clustering and High Availability environment.
- Excellent documentation, presentation and communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical)
- Detailed knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
- Detailed knowledge of Data center policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Security architecture, firewall, integrating security products, developing and coordinating security implementation plans.
- Experience with SAP and/or Oracle SOA is a plus but not required
Educations
- Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering field
