SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR - CAMBRIDGE - INTERNATIONAL COMPANY

An exciting opportunity has arisen, due to internal promotion, for a Systems Administrator with two years of experience to join an international company. The company is a leading software company who have a number of household names as their clients and promote a friendly, good work/life balance for their team.

The Systems Administrator will become a key part of the IT team and will provide a primary point of contact for all internal IT support related tasks. Within the IT team the Systems Administrator will also:

- Troubleshoot hardware and software; PC, AV, Printer, telephone and mobile issues.

- Server backups, updates and event checks.

- Software updates and installations including rebuilding and replacing desktop hardware.

- Purchasing, licence renewals and asset management.

- Provide technical input in project planning meetings and, where applicable, take project ownership.

You will be receive continual support for career progression and development working within a engaging team of technical experts.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will demonstrate:

- Experience in Microsoft systems (Windows Server 30-12 R2, Windows 7/8, MS Office 10/13).

- Knowledge of Cisco/ HP networking TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN.

- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DFS, Exchange and visualisation.

A salary of circa £25,000 dependent on experience is on offer and will be accompanied by a package that includes pension, flexible working hours, health care, free breakfast, share options plus much more.
