3 x Systems Programmer - IBM ZOS, DB2 and CICSIBM ZOS, DB2 and CICS
London / Halifax / Edinburgh
Leading bank requires IBM ZOS, DB2 and CICS systems programmers for project and maintenance roles.
Due to the huge growth this Bank is growing the team by circa 10 Systems Programmers across its multipleUKlocations.
These will fall into 3 categories of Programmer:
- IBM ZOS programmers
- IBM DB2 programmers
- IBM CICS programmers
They will require at least 3 of each of the above. They would also be very interested in hiring programmers with a combination of the technologies.
Candidates will be considered for locations inLondon,HalifaxandEdinburghand will be paid a maximum of £400 per day on the basis of a six month contract with a good possibility of extension.
There will be a mixture of project, upgrade, migration and maintenance work and will suit somebody with extensive experience in ZOS, DB2 or CICS preferably within the financial services sector.
Key skills:
- ZOS, DB2 or CICS
- BMC or CA products
- Software upgrades to latest versions
- Migrations onto new hardware
- Financial services experience
- Experience of BMC and CA product set is desirable
- Experience of DB2 Data Sharing is advantageous but not essential
Location: Based in eitherLondon,HalifaxorEdinburgh
Rate: £300 - £400 per day
Duration: Initially 6 months but good chance of extension
