Microsoft BI Developer
Data management can help our customers and our organization unlock new potential and realize our shared vision of becoming a next generation. One of my globally leading clients is urgently looking for several Microsoft BI Developers to join them on a 6 month contract working from their beautiful offices in Amsterdam.
The successful Microsoft BI Developer will have the following: responsibilities:
* Responsible for the platform enabling BI solutions used in our client's organisation.
* Using Agile SCRUM principles to deliver, maintain and extend the data analytics & reporting platform.
* Actively involved in platform automation both from a technical standpoint and a process point of view.
* Being in charge for the reliability of the platform.
* Proactive in formulating and managing processes, defining how a reporting solution can use the platform, identify risks and issues.
The successful Microsoft BI Developer MUST have the following skills:
* 5+ Years' experience as Microsoft SQL Developer.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher, Scripting and administration (install, security, log, jobs, etc.)
* Administration of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 ( or higher ) Databases.
* Advanced experience within SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
* Windows PowerShell and automatization with it.
* Experience with Power BI ( reporting, visualization, administration )
* Experience in dealing with large quantities of data (and performance tuning)
* Ability to translate requirements.
* Experience with pair programming, release automation, continuous deployment.
* Passionate about data insights.
* Experience with Team Foundation Server is considered a plus.
* Microsoft SharePoint (Administration, Excel Services, PowerPivot, Reporting Services, PowerView, PerformancePoint)
* Excellent written and spoken English skills
Contract duration: 6 month
Location: Amsterdam
Rates: Market rate
