For a client project we are looking for a Technical Analyst & Developer for ESG / Sustainability (f/m/d) – July2026.

Task:

Hands-on development using Python and SQL to build and optimize ESG / Sustainability data solutions
Gather, analyse, and document technical and non-functional requirements, translating system constraints and architectural needs into detailed Technical Requirements Documents
Facilitate IT activities including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to ESG and Data Governance (e.g. BCBS239)
Contribute to database design, including schema development, normalization, and optimization
Work with architects and engineers to shape data pipelines, integration patterns, and metadata structures

Requirements:

Strong, current hands-on experience with Python and SQL within an ESG / Sustainability context
Longterm project experience as Technical Analyst & Developer for ESG / Sustainability within a financial institution
Experience of Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks and good understanding of modern data platforms and IT frameworks
Industry experience within finance, banking and/or insurance
Great communication and presentation skills are a must (english)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Workload: 4-5 days per week

Location: 50% remote, upon request onsite in London
