Technical Content Writer/Technical Author
Our client is a leading global company operating a vast network of data centers. They are looking for a Technical Content Writer to join their team on a contract basis. This will be an Outside IR35 contract running upwards of 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Global Integration Management Office (IMO) to create and deliver a digital framework/structure, producing the first working edition of our Playbook.
- Work closely with stakeholders and business leads to gain a deep understanding of processes and translate complex technical information into simple, accurate, and engaging content.
- Redesign and reformat existing documentation in line with consistent branding guidelines and desired level of detail.
Skills/Requirements:
User-Centered Content Design:
- Design content that meets the users' needs, making complex language and processes easy to understand.
- Review and improve content to enhance its effectiveness.
- Implement branding, style, and visual standards.
- Demonstrate expertise in writing, editing, and publishing user-centered content.
- Utilize digital content management systems to effectively publish and share content.
System Knowledge/Expertise:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, and Word.
- Familiarity with Confluence and other online workspaces.
- Experience with LucidChart, Miro, and Clarizen.
