Requirements:Experience in network connectivity is essential. A strong foundational understanding of the TCP/IP protocol is required, including proficiency in V4 vs V6 addressing, subnetting, and OSI Layer 1, 2, 3 model.
Your capacity to comprehend network designs at this level is crucial, and eventually, you will need to be capable of constructing them.
The remaining responsibilities revolve around project management tasks such as coordination, customer interactions, meetings, and the tracking of action items, among others.
As a Customer Project Manager within the organization, you will have the chance to implement installation projects at our largest clients. Your role will involve planning, monitoring, and overseeing client projects from their initial design phases to the final delivery and handover to operations.
Taking the lead in managing various operational teams, both internal and external suppliers, you'll directly influence customer loyalty (NPS) with a customer-first mindset. This role offers high impact and visibility within the organization, allowing you to join a dynamic and collaborative team that provides support when needed.
The ideal candidate possesses an engineering degree or equivalent experience, along with Telecom and ICT knowledge. Fluency in English + Dutch/French, several years of project management experience, and a PRINCE2 certification would be advantageous. Strong negotiation skills, the ability to build trust in an open and transparent working environment, and adaptable communication styles for different stakeholders are essential. Most importantly, the ideal candidate is results-driven.
Responsibilities:
Drafting project plans during the pre-sales/RFP phase
Transforming a scope into a roadmap, deliverables, solution, and schedule
Establishing robust project governance
Managing and overseeing a Profit and Loss statement (P&L)
Leading a project team, considering various constraints, opinions, and visions
Converting high-level designs into low-level designs, actively involved in the final engineering of the technical solution while optimizing customer needs, efficiency, profitability, and quality
Managing (planning, directing, and coordinating) different teams involved in project implementation, supervising and motivating team members to adhere to the intended planning
Monitoring the availability and procurement of externally sourced services and equipment, following up with suppliers
Taking an active approach to escalations, independently seeking solutions, prioritizing, and making decisions if necessary
Serving as the primary contact for the customer, representing the business during the implementation phase with correct, clear, and timely communication, being proactive when necessary
Holding ultimate responsibility for the project from sales to handover to Service Management and/or Customer Service, providing the necessary documentation for an efficient handover
Offering the required elements to the Billing & Collections team to facilitate the creation of correct and clear invoices
Reporting project progress to Steerco/Management
Collaborating with Service Management and Account Management as part of the Account team, ensuring the ongoing support of the business's top customers after delivery regarding project management or delivery issues.
