Description
The job:
2nd line applications support with some software development integrated into the role.
You will write handy little scripts, find bugs and resolve them, install new applications across the business, set up web Servers, ad-hoc coding tasks and work as a technical consultant to support the internal systems of the client company.
There will be 70% support and 30% development in the role, with the potential for the software development element to grow with the role.
You have
- 2+ years' experience in Level 2 Support
- Programming exposure, especially Java, C++, Python, or similar.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- UNIX experience or Linux.
- Excellent problem solving skills
