Technical Writer
My major international financial client based in Luxembourg seeks a technical writer as per the description below:
Tasks/responsibilities
- Write external documentation (eg governing documentation, user guides, forms, product descriptions) for new products and services
- Write updates to and replacements of existing external documentation
- Implement the corporate branding in all external documentation
- Perform final reviews of proofs from the editor team
- Compile and maintain a corporate vocabulary
Support of the business product management team, including:
- Business analysis of regulatory updates, client requests
- Define business requirements for user interfaces and APIs
- Business acceptance testing
Qualifications/required skills
- Must be a native/fluent English speaker, knowledge of Spanish would be considered an asset
- Minimum two years of professional experience with EU financial reporting regulation, preferably EMIR
- Good understanding of XML syntax and implementation
- Clear communicator with excellent skills in logical reasoning and providing user instructions
- Attention to detail, particularly with regards to consistency in wording and page layout
- Self-starter, ability to take initiatives
- Good level of dedication
- Ability to work in a diverse (international) environment
- Excellent command of MS Office tools
- Very well organised, team work and flexibility
- Good with numbers, data, and statistics
Additional Domain & Business Skills:
- Occasional travel may be required
Assignment:
- Fulltime (100%)
- Start: January 2019
- Duration: 6 month contract.
- Contracts may be extended on a quarterly basis.
- Location: Luxembourg
