Profile Outline
The test lead is responsible for defining the testing strategy and approach, ensuring alignment between development teams and raising the overall test maturity of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities;
- Define test strategy and approach
- Define test objectives
- Define testing policies
- Propose and champion automation of testing throughout the test life cycle
- Propose new technologies and approaches from current best practice
- Guide and monitor the implementation of test designs
- Support estimation of testing efforts in Planning sessions
- Ensure test environments are appropriately provisioned
- Monitor and report on testing progress and RAIDs
