Description

For a project with our client in the automotive industry, we are looking for a freelance Test / QA Engineer with experience in test automation within an agile software development environment. Candidates based in the greater Barcelona area are preferred. We also welcome suitable profiles from other locations.

Key Areas:
  • Test automation using relevant frameworks and tools
  • REST and/or GraphQL API testing
  • Automated frontend and UI testing for web applications, preferably also for mobile applications
  • Performance testing
  • Continuous integration, build and deployment processes
Relevant Technologies and Tools:
  • API testing: tools such as Postman or Axios
  • Contentful
  • Advantageous: TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js and Git
Your Profile:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • At least two years of professional experience in test automation within an agile software development environment
  • Proven hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools
  • Experience in REST and/or GraphQL API testing
  • Experience in UI test automation for web applications, preferably for mobile applications
  • Experience with performance testing tools
  • Familiarity with continuous integration, build and deployment practices and tools
  • Knowledge of Contentful
  • Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript and/or Node.js, as well as experience with Git, is an advantage
  • Data analytics knowledge is a plus
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an independent and proactive approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
