Summary of role:
The Training Coordinator role will be to inspire, develop and continuously enhance The Bridge’s workforce through the delivery of high-quality training. You will work alongside the Learning and Development Leads to shape and deliver training at all levels of the organisation from induction through to supporting management development through our teaching and learning pathways.

The Bridge provides community based registered care services for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex care needs. We provide personalised outcome-based support to enable individuals with enhanced care and support needs to live safely, happily and successfully in the community.

What you'll do:
Trainer
- Deliver our training programmes to align with organisation goals and meet all compliance requirements
- Ensure training sessions are meaningful, engaging and tailored to the audience to best encourage the retention of key information
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and success of training sessions and report on them
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practice
- Deliver our Physical Intervention training programme to new and existing staff (ARC)
- Be present in our homes to oversee staff practice and drive improvement where required
- Oversee, train and upskill Training Mentors and staff alike to meet CQC standards and requirements
- Use our Learning Management System to ensure that training is scheduled in advance and that training records are always up to date
- Ensure key compliance training is up to date, including Care Certificate, mandatory training and competency assessments of staff. Where gaps exist support staff to complete this in order to ensure their training is up to date

- Support the development of content, framework, process, training and tools that support a comprehensive Management Development programme.
- Update and partner with the Training Manager on a regular basis (weekly) concerning relevant initiatives, programs, or applicable training changes.

You have:
- Minimum three years of experience in a health and social care management role from Senior/Team Leader upwards
- Experience in leading, guiding and supporting colleagues
- Experience of delivering training
- Formal training qualification (e.g. Award in Education &Training, Assessors Award) is desireable
- The ability to deliver training at all levels from induction through to supporting management development
- The ability to develop and lead a positive team environment
- Understand the Care Certificate Criteria and support their completion and/or oversight where required
- An understanding of statutory and mandatory CQC requirements and compliance standards
- Proficient user of IT including Microsoft Office Tools to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams Meeting as well as bespoke training software applications
You also have:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience working with a diverse workforce
- Must be self-motivated, highly organised, with the ability to prioritise independently while demonstrating a sense of urgency, strong ethical standards and integrity
- Ability to represent The Bridge with professionalism, poise and model the values.
- Proven organisational and follow-up skills, comfortable initiating and responding to high volume of emails and other communication.
- Candidate will have the ability to work flexibly and to work hours to meet the service needs and engage with staff on different shift patterns.
- Support the Training Manager on additional projects or company initiatives when necessary.
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to different homes
