Description
We are currently looking for freelance Emirati Arabic Transcription Evaluators to support an AI data project involving spoken Emirati Arabic.
This opportunity focuses on evaluating and reviewing existing transcriptions of spoken Emirati Arabic, rather than transcribing audio from scratch. Evaluators will help ensure that transcripts accurately reflect the original audio, following project-specific guidelines and quality standards.
This is a fully remote, project-based opportunity with flexible working hours. Candidates will be required to complete a qualification process before being considered for project assignments.
- Review existing Arabic transcripts against the corresponding audio recordings in Emirati Arabic.
- Evaluate transcription accuracy, identifying omissions, incorrect words, and other discrepancies.
- Assess linguistic accuracy and ensure the transcript reflects the spoken dialect.
- Apply project guidelines consistently and flag unclear or ambiguous cases when necessary.
- Maintain quality standards and meet assigned deadlines.
- Payment will be project-based, with rates depending on the project scope and evaluator qualifications.
- Compensation details will be communicated to qualified candidates once the project requirements are finalized.
- Work assignments and earning opportunities will depend on project availability and volume.
- Strong proficiency in Emirati Arabic, with the ability to understand spoken conversations in the dialect.
- Excellent listening skills and strong attention to linguistic detail.
- Ability to identify inaccuracies in Arabic transcripts and assess whether they accurately reflect the audio.
- Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply quality standards consistently.
- Previous experience in transcription, transcription review, linguistic QA, or Arabic language projects is an advantage.
- Reliable internet connection and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
