UI Developer
Remote
£425 a day Inside IR35
As a UI Developer, you'll be working with a forward-thinking tech stack to create innovative experiences. You will be bringing products and services to life. Operating with a tribe and chapter model, we have a development chapter made up of individuals with differing skill-sets, where knowledge sharing and group ideation for technical initiatives is welcomed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work alongside our Product and Design Teams to bring cutting edge, innovative and immersive designs and experiences - with consideration of performance and feasibility throughout
- Delivering bespoke and cross-cutting components and animations, working with and contributing towards our existing UI library
- Be part of our emerging UI Development Chapter within Digital Tech, where we talk everything from strategy to design collaboration and accessibility
- Create high quality software using agile methodologies
- Participate in the full software life cycle, including support and continuous integration
- Drive continuous improvement within a self-regulating team
- Have plenty of opportunity to learn new things, as well as coaching and mentoring others
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Specialist Front End experience with HTML and SASS/CSS
- Solid experience of working with and designing motion graphics for the web - with experience in Javascript motion libraries, eg framer motion, greensock, react spring, scroll magic, react motion, react move.
- A track record of working with CSS in JS and styled components
- Strong foundational knowledge and application of Javascript (ES6) and React
- Demonstrable experience of software development for high capacity, high traffic, high availability websites/systems.
- Delivery experience within agile projects
- WebGL is a bonus but not crucial
